Cottonwood Crossing Community Development
Welcome to the Cottonwood Crossing community... We are a family community.
If you are a resident of Cottonwood Crossing, your HOA's meetings are a great time to share your views, ask questions, and gain a better understanding about how a neighborhood organization is run. As you may know, our HOA board is a group of elected resident volunteers.
Toddie Fowler and her assistant Louise Duve (pron. doo-VAY) are our HOA's community managers, and employees of Tri-City Management company. Either one is always present at our HOA meetings. Toddie and Louise do many things to manage the welfare of our community, including: drive through the neighborhood weekly to uphold the rules, maintain decorum, administer warnings and fines according to the HOA rules.
The best way to address your HOA concerns would be in a respectful yet direct call or email to Toddie (ext. 118) or Louise (ext 134) .

SPRING: Each Spring we have a full community yard sale, in cooperation with the HOA. The SALE is advertised on the internet (Craigslist, GarageSale Finder, etc.) and there are signs placed by the entrances of our neighborhood.
Our 2009 SALE was Saturday, May 9th from 6 a.m. to 12 noon. Just for fun, we visited all the homes who participate with this community garage sale between 10 a.m. and noon to deliver FRESH BAKED DONUTS.

October 28, 2006 was our first block party, including a costume parade, kid's crafts, contests, and team games. This enabled the neighborhood children to meet and play together. We also had a drawing for free gifts, including a car-care bucket, Target gift card, Baker's Delight basket of baking supplies, and a Spa basket of personal care items. November 3, 2007 was our second annual block party. Attendance was the best ever. We had Thanksgiving centerpiece crafts for children, and chocolate kiss-a-day-till-Christmas crafts for all ages. Activities included face painting, the famous donut-eating contest, bubble-blowing, fishing, and relay races. The free prizes total over $100 in value: gift cards for Westcore Mall, Ross, Target, Trader Joe's, Blockbuster, and Starbuck's. WINTER: - To help ring in the holiday season, our neighborhood gathers for Christmas Caroling about mid- to late December. Each year our plan varies slightly, but the general rule is "Sing loud and have fun." This WINTER's COMMUNITY Christmas Caroling: THURSDAY DECEMBER 18, 6 to 8 p.m (meet at Clauss house 1037 s. Jamaica Way, then gather at the end of the evening for refreshments and photos) December 20, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m. was our first neighborhood "Christmas Carolling Event," with about 30 adults and children in attendance. We marched along Jamaica Way to Ranch, then back around to Crossroads, up San Tan, Down Stottler, and up Cathy through the greenbelt to Nunnely, then back to Jamaica. We were refreshed with hot cocoa and cookies by the fire at Clausses house on Jamaica. December 19, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. was our second neighborhood "Christmas Carolling Event," with about 30 adults and children in attendance. Lots more children this year kept us hopping! We traveled along Jamaica Way to Ranch, then into the cul-de-sacs, and back around to Crossroads, up Stottler, then back to Jamaica. We were refreshed with hot cocoa and cakes by the fire at Clausses house on Jamaica. Eveyone got a Christmas flashlight to help them read the songs as we marched along. If you would like to help plan a neighborhood event together, please contact us anytime at 480-251-9189.
WHERE: If you will be walking from your home on the west side of the canal, you will find us on the east greenbelt just across the canal bridge. If you live on the east side of the canal, we will be at the greenbelt area closest to Nunneley cul-de-sac. Nunneley Court is a convenient place to park, if you will be driving.
